One question that we we hear alot is "what is the best laptop I can get for X amount of money?" or "Should I go for a laptop or a desktop computer".
These are good valid questions , our response is normally followed by the following questions:
What do you use your computer for?
How much are you willing to invest?
Will you need to use your computer on the move?
How often will you use the computer?
Based on your answers it is possible to make recommendations on the computer best suited to your needs.
Which P.C or Laptop make or brand?
Right now this is difficult because there are so many good manufacturers out there such as DELL,HP,IBM and Acer to name but a few.
The one piece of advice we would give is stay well clear of OEM built computers!! Why?
This is simple to answer , 75% of all hardware faults reported into us are from users that have purchase OEM built P.C's.
No matter the professionalism of these small P.C builders they do not have the resources and skills experience to effectively match hardware components.Quality control is virtually non existent and most importantly these company do not always last ,so that 16year!! warranty they promised is worthless.
